    We purchased the military park hopper tickets from an Air Force base here in Northern California. I was able to link our tickets to my Disney World app and Disney account. I’m wondering how we get magic bands? Are we able to get those before our trip?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  First and foremost I would like to thank your family for their service to our country.  I hope you and your crew have the best time ever at the Walt Disney World Resort this June.   It's my pleasure to be able to help answer your question today.

    Military Discount tickets are a great savings and I am glad your family took advantage of them.  I am also happy to hear you have successfully linked them to your My Disney Experience account.    You are off to a fantastic start.    Guests who stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel will receive complimentary MagicBands for their stay.   If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel you will see the option to customize MagicBands for your stay in your My Disney Experience account.  If you are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you will receive an RFID enabled admission card when you purchase your tickets.  If you are staying off-site you also have the option of purchasing MagicBands prior to your stay on the Shop Disney website.   You can also purchase MagicBands once you arrive at Walt Disney World at most retail locations at the Theme Parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs.
