    I purchased military discounted tickets through Shades of Green for an upcoming trip. I am the Vet and may be unable to attend due to an illness. Will my wife still be access the park with her spouse ID or do I still need to be present.

    I'm so excited that your family has a trip planned to Walt Disney World Resort! I'd also like to sincerely thank you for your service. But oh, bother – I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling under the weather and may not be able to attend! I'd love to help you navigate the options that are available to you.

    Greg, Eligible Service Members are active or retired members of the US Military and their spouses. With that being said, I'm happy to let you know that your wife will have no problem accessing the park with her valid and active spouse Military ID! As a military spouse myself, I've often entered the parks without my husband (the service member) as long as I had my Military ID. Before you arrive, you'll just want to make sure that you've linked your Disney Military Salute Tickets to your My Disney Experience account and make your theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass system. This is an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit on each day of your trip!

    However, if you prefer to try to move your dates to another time you're available when you're feeling better, I'd recommend that you call a Cast Member. They will be able to help you with any next steps that may be available to you. Please remember that your Disney Military Salute Tickets that were purchased this year expire and will not be available to be used after December 15, 2023.
