We purchased mickeys bbq category 1 seating with reservations at 5:30. Email says to atrive 1 hour prior to show starting. Does the show start at 5:30 or is that or scheduled arrival time? Also, do I need to pick up tickets prior to this or is it on bands?

    Dear Ashley,

Thanks for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about Mickey's Backyard BBQ

This is such a fun dinner show and I'm sure that you are going to have a super time!

With the Category 1 perks, I recommend arriving at the latest by 4:30pm for the 5:30pm show. I would even build a little bit of extra time in there just in case you have any delays. There is plenty to do at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort if you find that you have arrived a bit early and want to explore.

For this dinner show, yes, you will need to visit any Guest Services location or Hotel Concierge up to 7 days ahead of time to get your paper tickets for the event.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
