Hi there, Daniel!
Thanks for stopping by with your question. Is a Disneyland visit complete without a stop at the Emporium or World of Disney on the way out? There's no better way to commemorate your visit than with a special token to remember the magic. For me, it's a new mug, but I just took a look at those baseball jerseys, and they went right to the top of my wish list!
The custom embroidery offered at the
Disneyland Resort is a time honored tradition, especially on those iconic Mickey Ears. It's such a unique opportunity to make something extra special, so I can see why you'd like to add a touch of personalization to those jerseys. Typically, you should be able to have merchandise personalized as long as it is unworn with tags still attached and is accompanied by the original receipt. The Cast Member I spoke to also mentioned that it should be within a reasonable amount of time, but didn't specify how long that window is. Since you will just be two weeks out from your original purchase, I imagine you should be fine, but I mention it just in case it's at the Cast Member's discretion. If you have any specific questions before you head into the parks, I recommend reaching out to
Merchandise Guest Services. The Cast Members there are always happy to help.
There are a few places on property that offer personalization, including some spots outside the parks. My go-to is
The Mad Hatter right on Main Street in Disneyland, but you could also go to
Kingswell Shop in California Adventure,
World of Disney in Downtown Disney, and even
small world Gifts & Sundries at the Disneyland Hotel. I like this last location as well - it's a bit off the beaten path and you can pick up a DOLE WHIP from
Tangaroa Terrace on your way out!
Now, I know it may be hard to head into these locations and not have something else catch your eye (speaking from experience!). Did you know you can use
Merchandise Mobile Checkout directly from the Disneyland App? Simply tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and select "Merchandise Mobile Checkout" while you are in the store. Scan the barcodes for all of your items and pay directly in the app itself. On your way out, you will see a Cast Member standing by a Mobile Checkout kiosk - show them your QR code from your purchase, and you are all set! This comes in handy especially at the end of the night when everyone is looking for a souvenir at World of Disney.
Daniel, I hope this was helpful! If you have any more questions or just need a tip or two, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
Tara
