A very warm welcome to you, Sean! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question!
One of my family’s favorite things to do after our
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is to sit down together and relive the magic of our trip through our Disney PhotoPass photos thanks to the
Memory Maker! We munch on snacks from our trip (I prefer the Mickey-shaped pre-packaged Rice Krispies Treats from
Main Street Confectionery) and it really helps me cope with my post-Disney vacation blues.
Sean, the wonderful thing about the Memory Maker is that it will stay in your account until you actually activate it, and is good for 30 days from the activation date. When a
PhotoPass Photographer takes the picture and taps your band, the picture will show up in your My Disney Experience account. If you download the
My Disney Experience app, you can oftentimes view the pictures on your phone soon after you’ve taken them! You will be able to see the photos with a watermark, unless you activate your Memory Maker. At that point, you can download your photos. To activate it, once you take your first photo and click on it, you will see the option to activate the Memory Maker and you’re ready to pose for all the magical pictures!
Sean, Disney has worked tirelessly to make Guest and Cast Member
safety a priority. Because of this, Guests are still required to keep face coverings on while taking pictures. I recently came back from my own magical vacation and found I had an even more enjoyable experience with the Disney PhotoPass photographers. The photographers love spending time making your vacation unforgettable, and Disney has added many new Magic Shots. To be ready to strike magical poses, I suggest you check out these adorable
Disney’s Cloth Face Masks at shopDisney!
Enjoy making those magical memories, Sean!
