Hey, Jamie! This is a really great question, so I am glad you snapped it over to us! I am really glad you purchased Memory Maker before your trips. The advance purchase discount makes this product even more magical. Your
Memory Maker purchase will become "active" as soon as you download your first Disney PhotoPass picture. As long as you have merely viewed your pictures and not downloaded any, then you should be fine with waiting to activate it after your
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party celebration. One way to check this is to go to the
Disney PhotoPass website or use your My Disney Experience mobile app to view your photos. Do they still have the watermark across them? If so, then your Memory Maker is not active. If you are able to see your photos clearly and without any watermark over them, then your Memory Maker has been activated.
I do want to mention to you the picture validity timeline. I am not sure when your previous visit was, but you may be able to still get all of those pictures with your Memory Maker after the party, provided that the two trips are fairly close together. Once taken, a Disney PhotoPass picture will
reside in your account for 45 days. Another important date to note is the day you officially activate Memory Maker. From the date of the first download, you will have
30 days to complete all downloads before the Memory Maker purchase expires. If you are able to time it just right, you could use the Memory Maker for both trips.
Another option you have is to purchase
Memory Maker One-Day for the day you attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. When you click on a Disney PhotoPass picture, you should see within the options presented one for purchasing all pictures from that day. If you need any assistance with this, just stop by one of the
Disney PhotoPass Centers in the theme parks or
Disney Springs.
Thanks again for stopping by with your question and please let us know if you have any others!
