Hi Katelyn,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I'm so happy to hear you were able to capture beautiful family memories with the PhotoPass photographers on your recent trip to
Walt Disney World Resort. I am such a big fan of
Memory Maker for all of our Disney vacations. While I love capturing the details around the parks and snapping photos of my children's delighted faces, purchasing Memory Maker ensures that I'm in the photos too!
I'm sorry to hear that not all of your Magic Shots are 100% magical just yet, but I have noticed that it can sometimes take over 24 hours for the PhotoPass team to work its magic. I recall taking a family photo on Main Street, U.S.A., and being disappointed later seeing that I had my arm in the air, but no balloons threatening to carry us away. However, I went back to check the next day and was pleasantly surprised to see that the magic appeared while I was busy resting up for another day of adventures. If it's already been a few days and you're still waiting on that pixie dust, I'd be happy to help!
You can submit a ticket to
locate missing PhotoPass or attraction photos online. Using the drop-down menu, select "a missing photo" and fill in the date, location, and time the photos were taken. You can also use the text box below to input additional details like the clothing you were wearing, or in this case what specifically was missing from the particular Magic Shot like a balloon bundle or your favorite pixie Tinker Bell. You'll also be able to upload a photo to assist the team in adding the necessary magic. I recently used this when one of our Haunted Mansion Doom Buggy photos was missing from our gallery, and I had the photo in question within a few days. I'll cross my fingers you'll have the same quick luck.
I'm not sure if you're aware but there's now a brand new way to relive the magic of your trip with
Disney PhotoPass Video Memories. You can use this new feature in the
My Disney Experience App to create adorable videos using your PhotoPass photos as well as pictures you snapped with your own smartphone. Guests will be able to download these videos as Annual Passholders or with the purchase of Memory Maker, so be sure to take a look and create your own. They're perfect for sharing on social media or enjoying whenever you need a bit of magic back home.
One last tip- don't forget to
download all your PhotoPass photos before they expire. You'll have 45 days from the date of capture.
Please feel free to come back and
ask me any other questions you might have. I'd be happy to help!
Wishing you memories and magic,
Amy
