Welcome to planDisney, Marisa!
Oh boy, in just a few days you'll be off on your supercalifragilisticexpialidocious adventure to Walt Disney World Resort. Are you counting down the seconds yet? I know I would be.
As I look around my living room, I'm surrounded by framed snapshots of moments from our vacations back "home." I love looking back through Disney PhotoPass pictures from past vacations and reminiscing on all the fun my family had together. These cherished memories would not have been possible if it weren't for
Memory Maker, so I am beyond excited to hEAR you've purchased it for your upcoming vacation!
Perhaps a spoonful of sugar would help your Memory Maker link right, but since Mary Poppins is busy feeding the birds, let's see if I can help you get it to "step in time" with your
My Disney Experience account. In your
My Disney Experience App, click the waffle menu (the three lines in the bottom right corner) and select "Tickets and Passes." Click on the plus sign in the top right corner, then select "Link Tickets & Passes." You can scan the confirmation code or enter it manually on this screen, then click submit and follow the remaining steps to finish linking Memory Maker to your account.
If you are instead using a browser, go to "My Plans" in your My Disney Experience account. Scroll down to the section titled "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" and click "Add More Plans." Select "Link Reservations and Purchases," then choose Memory Maker from the list of options. Enter your confirmation code and walk through the remaining steps to link it to your account. If you have any issues linking Memory Maker, I suggest you call the friendly Cast Members at the My Disney Experience and MagicBands line at 407-939-4357 for further assistance.
Be sure to take full advantage of your Memory Maker purchase by getting as many pictures at
Disney PhotoPass locations as you can. You can easily find more Disney PhotoPass locations near you through your My Disney Experience App. On the interactive map, select "PhotoPass" from the drop-down menu at the top-middle of the map. This will bring up a list of available Disney PhotoPass locations nearby.
Your attraction photos are included in your Memory Maker purchase, so make sure to follow the current face covering policies (required indoors) for ride photos to be released to your account. You might also make a note of what times you experience these attractions just in case the photos don't link to your account properly. If you do find that any of your pictures are missing, you can call the wonderful Disney PhotoPass Guest Support Team at 407-560-4300 for further assistance. They can use your timestamp information to look up missing pictures.
Don't forget to ask your Disney PhotoPass photographer for Magic Shots, which are photos with a little extra Disney magic added into the finished picture (think Disney characters and fun effects). You can then view all your photos in the PhotoPass Gallery in your My Disney Experience App or from a browser when logged into your account. Pro tip: When you return home from your magical adventure, be sure to
order a Disney PhotoPass Archive USB flash drive that will have all the photos from your trip loaded onto it.
Marisa, I hope your jolly holiday to The Most Magical Place on Earth is practically perfect in every way. Please stop back by planDisney if you have further questions. We'd be happy to help!
Chim chim cheree,
Alyssa
