Magical greetings, Lisa! I'd love to be your planDisney Fairy Godmother today, so let's look at some ways to help your dreams of switching that
MagicBand+ come true for your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort visit.
I chatted with a Bibbidi-Bobbidi Cast Member who said that while bands are not typically transferrable once they're linked to a My Disney Experience account, there are some cases where the help desk might be able to help. She suggested you call the
My Disney Experience/ MagicBand+ line and explain your situation. They will need more information, such as how the bands were purchased, so have all pertinent information about your trip handy when you call.
Another tip is to have the serial numbers of your bands jotted down. These can be found on the underside of the band, so having a list of which band should be assigned to whom might be helpful. Disney technical support can wave their wands to make magic happen!
If anyone in your party doesn't have a band, never fear. Guests can use
Disney Magic Mobile Service to enter the theme parks, open their Disney Resort Hotel door, and more. The
My Disney Experience mobile app is another helpful tool for planning a day fit for royalty.
I hope your family spends some time at the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival that kicks off this week. Kids will love strolling through
Butterfly Landing, and adults can savor the fabulous offerings at the
Outdoor Kitchens. My favorite is the Avocado Toast at Brunchcot!
Lisa, I hope your Prince Charming gets an enchanting MagicBand+ on your upcoming visit. Please stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
