Ahoy, Katherine!
Welcome to planDisney. We're delighted you've dropped by with a wonderful
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! I hope your trip has been smooth sailing so far, and I'm happy to help you navigate the uncertain waters surrounding your purchased
Lightning Lane passes.
Katherine, I'm sorry to hear you're having to modify your exciting Disney Parks plans. According to a
disclaimer on the Walt Disney World Resort website, Lightning Lane passes are nonrefundable and attraction selections and offerings are subject to change or closure. Due to the unique circumstances you're in with the cruise re-route, it wouldn't hurt to reach out to the friendly Cast Members at the Existing Tickets phone line to inquire about any options available to you. While the answer may be that the Lighting Lane passes are forfeited, you'll be pleased to know that your
theme park admission shouldn't be lost entirely. The value of a fully unused theme park ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket in the future! In the event that the theme parks are closed due to severe weather, you may be offered additional options, Katherine. However, this is subject to change and availability, so your best bet would be to
connect with a Cast Member for more information.
I hope this advice has been helpful to you, Katherine, and I hope the rest of your ocean-based adventure is filled with fun! If you have any additional questions about your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation - or perhaps even a sailing with
Disney Cruise Line - you can always revisit us here at
planDisney. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Warm wishes,
Lauren
