I just purchased the inspire pass for my husband and I. I have been an annual pass holder for years now before they changes it to magic key pass. My husband is new to the country and first time. I didn’t realize we were blocked for my birthday 4/10.

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, April Marie!

You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! Congratulations on joining the Magic Key program with the Inspire Key. I’ve been enjoying my Imagine Key for several months now, so I understand how frustrating block-out dates can be, especially during the popular spring break season. It's funny because I was actually planning a spring break adventure with my husband and our little Mouseketeer, and we found out we were blocked out during the same week you're planning to visit!

April Marie, If you're looking to save a few Disney dollars, consider taking advantage of the Southern California Resident Ticket offer. This deal includes three theme park admission tickets to one park at a time, and it's available for residents with a driver's license or passport that shows their address within the 90000-93599 zip codes. With this offer, you can make reservations to visit the parks during your block-out dates and still have a blast with your Prince Charming.

Personally, what I did was purchase this offer and make theme park reservations for the week when my pass was blocked out. This way, my family and I still get to spend quality time together and create lasting memories without breaking the bank.

Those pesky block-out dates can make planning a bit tricky, especially if you were hoping to celebrate your birthday at Disneyland. But don't worry, as the Mad Hatter says, "Statistics prove that you've one birthday a year. Ah, but there are 364 unbirthdays!" There's always a reason to celebrate at The Happiest Place On Earth, no matter when you visit.

But April Marie, even if your pass is blocked out, there's still plenty of fun to be had at the Disneyland Resort. Exploring the Downtown Disney District, trying out some yummy treats, and visiting my favorite restaurant with my hunny is one of my favorite pastimes. There's always something to do! So as Mickey would say, “Put a spring in your step” and let's go make some memories with your One True Love!

Well, It was my pleasure to help you out today, April Marie. Don't hesitate to follow up with me if you have any more questions. Remember, I'm always here to help my fellow Mouseketeers.

    See ya real soon!
