Disneyland Vacation packages are convenient since you make one booking and get your accommodations and theme park admission all in one! Typically, guests use their tickets concurrently with their hotel stay, so I did some investigating with the
Walt Disney Travel Company today, and I'm happy to share my findings.
The Cast Member I spoke to said that technically, you can use your tickets before your Hotel Reservation dates; however, there are a few caveats. First, your actual ticket numbers are not sent until four days before your arrival date. They will arrive either through email or be available through the Disneyland website once you are logged in under the My Disneyland Tab. As long you have Theme Park Reservations (which I will explain below), you can use your tickets as soon as you receive them digitally. For example, if your hotel stay begins on July 5, you can use your tickets as early as July 1. Just keep in mind that multi-day tickets purchased this year must be used within 13 days of first use. To make your reservations, go to the "
Theme Park Tickets and Reservations" page, and click the "Make Park Reservations" button. Scroll down and click "Retrieve Hotel Reservation." After entering your confirmation number and last name, you will be directed back to make theme park reservations. You can do this up to 120 days or more in advance, subject to availability.
