Ahoy me hearties!
Welcome to planDisney, Robert. We're happy you've visited us with your question. Aarrrgg... what a treasure you've found! You've done an excellent job at keeping track of those magical tickets from 2000. Now let's see how you can set sail for an amazing adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth, matey!
If your tickets had no expiration date, and have an unused day remaining on the balance, they should still be valid. Walt Disney World Resort continues to honor all unexpired theme park tickets with remaining admission days. Woo hoo!
I would start by trying to link the tickets yourself in the
My Disney Experience app. To do so, from the home screen select the "≡" icon in the lower right corner, select the "My Tickets & Passes" tile, then click the "+" in the top right corner to link your tickets to your account. This may be all you need to do to load them into your MyDisney account. Scroll down and you'll see a "Reassign Ticket" option, allowing you to transfer any of the four tickets to guests listed in "Your Family & Friends" list.
The Disney World website mentions a number to call a Cast Member for help, if you need any further assistance in
converting your old park tickets.
Robert, there are all kinds of amazing Disney World
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts being offered right now! If you'd like to combine your visit to the parks with a stay at a Disney Resort, you could select one of the room-only discounts. And if you'll be visiting in 2025, that would also qualify you for another terrific perk! This year, all guests staying at a Disney Resort receive
free admission to one of Disney's Water Parks on arrival day... either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. It's the perfect way to pack in some more fun into your stay.
Disney legend has it that a typhoon once wreaked havoc at
Typhoon Lagoon, upon a formerly pristine tropical paradise. Ships, fishing gear, and surfboards are strewn about the storm... perhaps you'll find more treasure?
Have a wonderful visit to Disney World, and please send me another
message at planDisney if I can help with anything further.
Yo ho, yo ho... a Disney Life for you!
Tami
