Hello Jeanette!
How fun that you still have those non-expiring tickets! And what better time to finally use them than to visit the Walt Disney World Resort for its
50th Anniversary Celebration! My parents still have a few of those tickets and we are saving them for a special occasion too!
Jeanette, while your tickets are likely still valid for entry, the computer system isn’t set up to recognize those older tickets and allow you to make
Disney Park Pass Reservations online. While I know it isn’t the answer you are looking for, the easiest thing to do is take them to any ticket booth at Walt Disney World, or Guest Relations outside the theme parks or at Disney Springs where they can validate the tickets and convert you to new ticket media. Before the Park Pass Reservation System was put into place, this was not a huge inconvenience, but I’m sure you are anxious about locking in those reservations.
I would recommend you call for assistance and see what Cast Members can do for you before arrival, and what they recommend. I’m not sure if they will be able to convert your tickets in advance, so you may need to wait to make Park Pass Reservations when you get there. I am sure this is anxiety-producing because of the concern that things might book up. While there are no guarantees, except for the big 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World on October 1, 2021, all other days are available and hopefully will remain available as your trip approaches. I would specifically ask the Cast Member over the phone if there is any way they can make a note on your account or help you in case the parks do book in advance of your trip, or what advice they have for someone in your situation.
I hope you can get everything worked out, and that you score those perfect Park Pass Reservations, Jeanette. Have a magical visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort!- Kate
