Hi, Dana! I feel like I need a horn to trumpet for these welcomes - welcome to the
Annual Passholder family and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I also want to trumpet a huge "HURRAY!" to you for the money you saved by going ahead and
purchasing those Annual Passes earlier rather than later! All ticket prices did recently go up, so it looks like you were sprinkled with a good bit of pixie dust with the timing of your purchase. Of course, if that happened to me, my kids would quickly let me know that it meant we would have more to spend on Dole Whip Floats (well, I may agree with this logic!).
I have more great news for you, Dana! The price of your Annual Pass is set and you will not have to pay any extra. Do you feel all that pixie dust falling right now? Your pass is considered fully purchased at this point, so you will not be required to pay more to activate it, just because the price of it went us between purchase time and activation time. When you do activate your pass, its anniversary date will then be set. You will then know the
date when you can renew it each year - it will be set as that date you originally activated it.
I see that you are a Florida resident, so I do want to take a second and remind you that you will need to bring
proof of your Florida residency when you activate your Florida Weekday Select Annual Pass. You will not need to bring it each time, but it is required for activation of the ticket. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question and please let us know if you have any others!
