Hello Angelica!
Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are planning a visit to the
happiest place on earth, the Disneyland Resort! Once you have purchased your
Disneyland Theme Park Tickets you must make a Theme Park Reservation for each day you plan to visit a park. Both a ticket and a reservation are required to enter a theme park.
Some days do fill up, so I would recommend purchasing your tickets and making your Theme Park Reservations sooner rather than later.
As a nurse, thank you for being vaccinated for COVID-19! The State of California
strongly recommends that all visitors to the Disneyland Resort be fully vaccinated or be tested before visiting. While this is strongly recommended, it is not required. So no, your 5-year-old does not have to be tested. You will not be asked to show proof of either to enter the theme parks.
Please know that currently,
masks are required indoors for all Guests over the age of 2. This includes indoor queues and attractions. Masks remain optional in outdoor areas. Be sure to
review reopening information, as it’s always better to know before you go!
I hope this helps with your planning, Angelica! And please come back to see us with any additional questions before your visit! We are here to help!
Have a Magical Day!
