I purchased Disneyland park tickets from Target and tried to redeem them at disneyland.disney.go.com/links/tickets-passes and keep getting an error message that the 21-digit number under the eGift Card barcode is invalid. But there is no 16-digit number.

    Hi there, Yoshiko!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question! I'm happy to hear that you've decided to visit the Happiest Place on Earth and purchased your tickets from Target. As a child of the Disney Store era, I was thrilled to see them add Disney Stores to select Targets around the country and I get so nostalgic whenever I pass one.

When you purchase Disneyland Theme Park Tickets at Target, you should have received an email confirmation at the email address that you provided when purchasing the tickets. This email contains the information necessary to link the tickets to your Disneyland account. If you click through to access your E-Tickets, you should see a bar code associated with the ticket. This is the bar code and ticket number that you need to enter into the Disneyland Mobile App or the Disneyland website to link your ticket. The easiest way would be to use your phone's camera to scan the bar code when it displays on your screen. Within the App, press the ☰ Features Menu and scroll down to find "Link to Account."

Once your tickets are linked, be sure to then navigate to Tickets and Reservations and make the appropriate reservations for your trip. All Park visitors are required to have a valid admission ticket and a park reservation for entry. Once these are made, remember that you may also make dining reservations beginning 60 days from your visit!

When will you be visiting the Disneyland Resort, Yoshiko? There are exciting things happening all the time! The Disney100 Celebration is slated to last all year, and "Rogers: The Musical" will be debuting at Disney California Adventure on June 30, 2023. When the summer season ends, the entire Resort will be decorated for Halloween, my favorite season! No matter when you visit, there's plenty to see.

I hope this was helpful for you, Yoshiko, and that you are able to link your tickets. If you need further help planning, please reach out to us at planDisney anytime! We'd love to help you plan your trip!

    Have a Magical Day!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
