I have purchased Disney transportation to take us to the Orlando Airport after our cruise. What time do they usually pick you up from Port Canaveral? I may have made my departure flight too late (4:00 pm), and we will have a long wait at the airport!!

    Hi Pam!
It is wonderful to assist you again with your cruise plans!  Departure times begin around 7:30am and go for about two hours.  All Guests are asked to be out of their rooms around 8:00am, and breakfast is served according to your dining time.  If you are a first seating diner, you will eat in the dining room you dined in the night before around 6:45am.  Second seating guests are assigned an 8:00am breakfast time.  This "Welcome Home" breakfast is a wonderful opportunity to fuel up for your travels and say farewell to your fantastic dining servers.  There really isn't much to do other than breakfast on departure morning so once you are finished you will most likely be making your way down the gangway.  You can estimate about 30 minutes or less for U.S. Customs before you board the motor coach back to the Orlando Airport.  The ride is around an hour or so depending on traffic.  Disney Cruise Line does not recommend flights before 11:30am so you may have some time to wait once you arrive at the airport.  There is shopping including two Disney Stores in the airport as well as lots of dining options to help pass the time.
Thanks again for visiting the Moms Panel, Pam!  I'm always happy to help so I hope to hear from you again real soon!
