I purchased the deluxe dining plan for my familys visit in May and I have no clue what it intails. Can anyone clear it up for me? Also how binding are reservations made?

    Hi Amanda,

That is a fantastic dining plan that you added to your Disney World vacation. You will definitely want to read up on what the package entails to make sure your utilize all of the credits you will be receiving. The plan will give you family an opportunity to experience a great variety of Disney World restaurants and dining experiences.

The Deluxe Dining Plan provides each guest on the plan, three meals, along with two snacks a day. Each person will receive a set of credits per night stayed and these credits can be used anytime during your stay. They expire on your last day at Disney World. The best place to check for complete information on your package is here. Guests on this plan receive a set number of counter and table credits and most locations take one credit per person at a time. There are select signature dining locations that require two table service credits for one meal so be sure to plan accordingly when making reservations.

Advance dining reservations are strongly encouraged at all Disney World table service restaurants, and can be made up to 180 days in advance by calling 407-939-3463. Some restaurants require a credit card guarantee and it is important to ask about any cancellation policies on these locations. Most locations do not require a credit card guarantee and can be canceled on the same day. They do ask that you cancel any reservations you will not need, as soon as possible to allow other guests to take advantage of the openings. The restaurants ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your reservation, however things do happen and we have at times been a few minutes late. Typically there is not a problem with still obtaining your table, however you may find an additional wait so it is always best to allow plenty of time for travel.

Be sure to come hungry and enjoy!!
