    We have never purchased the DDP on our previous trips but are considering it this time. I am confused by people saying that they didn't want dessert but had to order it because the plan comes with it. Can't you just say you don't want dessert?

    Hi Sonia!

    The Dining Plan can be quite a great deal if you enjoy Disney restaurants!

    While you are not required to order dessert with your meal, you will unfortunately lose the dessert altogether. If you decide not to have dessert with your meal, you will not be able to have it at a later time. Of course, you could always get a to-go box!
