    We have purchased the DDP and we are a party of 6. I am wondering how it all works with the gratuity. Do they deduct our table service meals off of our magic bands and then whatever card we have linked to our magic bands is used for the gratuity? Thanks!

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  You are going to love having the Disney Dining Plan during your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.  Your server will definitely be able to deduct the number of Table-Service meals being redeemed from your MagicBand. The card you provided at check-in can also be used for paying gratuity or you may choose to provide another form of payment such as a Disney Gift Card. If you do decide to simply use the card that is already on file with your Disney Resort hotel, you can simply use your MagicBand in order to do so.  I also wanted to mention that parties of six or more will be charged an automatic 18% gratuity.  Follow this link to learn more about the 2016 Disney Dining Plan.
