Hi Paige! Welcome to planDisney. We're happy you're here!
It sounds like you're planning a summertime trip to
Walt Disney World Resort and I couldn't be more excited for you! With longer evenings stretching out ahead of you, that just means that there's more time for magic in the parks. When my husband and I visit in the summer, we love to head to a park first thing in the morning, take a midday break where we nap or swim in the pool at our Disney Resorts Collection hotel, then head park to a park to enjoy all of the nighttime activities. Paige, no matter what you see or do, you're sure to have an extra magical trip!
I know you're asking about the length of time you're able to use a ticket, especially after you use the first few days. Unfortunately, the valid use period for theme park tickets won't be extended a year after initial use. When looking at the
Ticket Expiration Timeline, it appears as though a 10-day ticket will expire 14 days after the selected start date. My best recommendation would be to purchase a ticket that has the number of days you can successfully use within the expiration timeline!
Before you arrive, take some time to download the
My Disney Experience app and explore everything that it can do! When in the parks, you'll be able to view maps, check wait times for attractions, access
virtual queues, and even
mobile order food. This is my favorite way to minimize waits and maximize the fun, especially on warm summer days!
If you have any other questions, please write to us again. We're always happy to help!
You've got a friend in me,
