Hello Christina!
Welcome back to planDisney! I am so excited that the
Park Hopper option has returned to the
Walt Disney World Resort. Hopping from park to park is the perfect way to experience more of the theme parks during your precious vacation time. Spend your morning in the Magic Kingdom on your favorite attractions, then head to Epcot in the afternoon to have a delicious meal and enjoy the evening. There are so many reasons to love the Park Hopper option!
You can upgrade your
theme park tickets before or during your visit, as long as you still have at least one remaining entitlement, and you are within the validity of your tickets. A 6-day ticket expires 9 days after it’s selected start date. Simply visit any theme park ticket window, Guest Relations at a theme park or Disney Springs, or the Concierge Desk at your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. So if you’d like to start without the Park Hopper, but then decide you want to add it for the last few days of your visit, you can do that!
There are a few differences right now in how the Park Hopper Option works, in comparison with the past. You must still make a
Disney Park Pass for the first park you intend to visit for the day and enter that park. Park Hopper Hours are limited and subject to change, but currently begin at 2 PM. While you don’t need a Disney Park Pass for that second park, admission to that second park is not guaranteed and admission may be limited for the safety of all Guests.
I hope this helps with your planning as you get ready for your visit, Christina. Please let us know what additional questions you have, we are here to help!
