We purchased the 3 day SoCal resident tickets, we’ve used 2 of the 3 days and just upgraded our tickets to passes. I had a reservation for April 27th am I still able to use that reservation with the socal ticket or does it no longer work now?

    Welcome to planDisney Rylyn!

We are Walt Disney World Annual Passholders, so I love that you took the opportunity to upgrade your SoCal pass (which, BTW, is such a fantastic option for Mickey's California neighbors). Let's chat about the changes to your tickets now that you are a Passholder!

So, to upgrade your SoCal ticket, you needed to have at least one unused date left (which you indicated you had). Once you upgraded, that last day was absorbed into your Magic Key since reservations don't transfer. It's a bit disappointing to hear, but think of it as now having 364 extra days!

Here are a couple of things to remember with your new keys to your neighbor's house! Make sure to check the availability calendar before you go, as blackout dates apply and depend on the type of pass. Also, though Mickey might have an open-door policy, Minnie needs to prepare for guests, so you need both a theme park reservation and a valid Magic key for your desired dates.

Rylyn, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to swing back by. I wish you a year full of magic!
