Hi Allison! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
I have good news for you: The names on the tickets shouldn't matter. You didn't purchase SoCal Ticket Offers, because there is no SoCal Deal currently offered for purchase or use. SoCal Tickets, when available, require the name on the ticket to match because you must present a valid government-issued photo ID proving residence. You're probably familiar with how those work at the entrance. Instead, you purchased the current
3-Day Disneyland Ticket Offer. This fantastic deal is available to all Guests, not just ones residing in select ZIP Codes. So, there's no need for an ID.
You simply need a valid ticket and a theme park reservation for entry. Theme park reservation
availability is not guaranteed, so make yours as soon as possible. Popular days and parks can fill up. In this case, the name on the tickets won't matter. When you enter the park, a friendly Cast Member will take a quick photo of each Guest after scanning the tickets, which will identify the Guest with the ticket going forward, making the name meaningless.
If it really bothers you, however, you can call the
Tickets phone line. A Cast Member on this phone line can assist you in changing the name on one ticket. It's not necessary, but I know some Guests prefer to make the adjustment. It's up to you!
While there's no SoCal Ticket Offer currently available, keep your eye on the
Offers & Deals page to see what coming offers might apply to you. Prices and terms are subject to change.
Have a magical time with your dad.
Elizabeth
