07/06 we went to Disneyland for our first time. I’m a socal resident 34 never had been to Disney the whole time my daughter kept asking to go to the princess castle until it hit me. There are two parks DCA and Dinseyland will you have discounts for SoCal

    Hi there, Elizabeth!

Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you found us and asked your Disneyland Resort question. I hope your recent visit with your daughter was filled with pixie-dusted moments!

Yes, there are two separate theme parks at the resort. Disneyland Park is the original park that opened in Anaheim in 1955 and it is where you can find the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle! Disney California Adventure Park is located just a hop, skip, and a jump across the Esplanade. This is the place to go if you want to experience Cars Land, Pixar Pier, and Avengers Campus, just to name a few highlights!

There is not currently a special offer specifically for Southern California residents, but there is a 3-Day Ticket Offer for a special price that is valid until September 26, 2024. However, new discounts and promotions can be added at any time. My advice is to follow the Disney Parks Blog and the Disneyland Resort’s social media accounts so you'll be in the know about all the deals that can help make your next visit more affordable!

I hope this helps, Elizabeth, and that you’re able to plan another theme park day soon! Please write back with any other questions you may have.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
