I understand why you're considering extending your tickets—November ushers in the magical transition from Halloween to the Holiday season. Disneyland Resort will again transform into The Merriest Place on Earth for the holiday season on November 11, 2022! You are welcome to upgrade your tickets, but I wouldn't wait until you get to the ticket booth since you risk being unable to book a
park reservation for your added day. I recommend calling the
Disneyland Ticket Team at (714) 781-4636. Although Disneyland tickets are not refundable, they may be able to apply the value of your 4-day tickets towards the repurchase of new 5-day tickets. The only downside is you may lose the park reservations you've already made, so you'll want to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to see if your desired dates are still open before completing the transaction.
There are so many fun seasonal events that I hope you get a chance to experience, Colleen! At Disney California Adventure Park,
"World of Color-Season of Light" is a holiday-themed version of the fantastic nighttime show! Cars Land also gets a Christmas makeover with
Luigi's Joy to the Whirl and
Mater's Jingle Jamboree. At Disneyland Park, the Haunted Mansion becomes
Haunted Mansion Holiday (including a 20-foot tall gingerbread house), and you will be able to experience the
"Believe … in Holiday Magic" fireworks spectacular!
