Hi Amanda, welcome to planDisney! I'm enchanted to hear that you're taking advantage of the
Southern California Resident Ticket. It's a great way to save on three days of fun at the Disneyland Resort.
Amanda, you have a few options when it comes to adding extra days (and magic) to your plans:
- You can purchase a standard 1-day ticket (although you'll get more value from the other options).
- You can purchase another Southern California Resident Ticket for three more days of fun, since guests who live within ZIP codes 90000 - 93599 may purchase up to five of these tickets per day! Just make sure you can use it fully by the time the ticket expires on May 15, 2025. Remember that when you go to use this ticket, you must show a government-issued photo ID at the gate, like a California Driver's License or California ID, to prove your eligible residency.
- Magic Key passes are still on sale, so you can also consider getting one for a full year of wondrous experiences at the Disneyland Resort! You can upgrade your existing ticket to a Magic Key (subject to availability) as long as you do it on or before the last day you use the existing ticket. Or, you can purchase one independently as long as the are available.
Amanda, did you know that modifying a park reservation is as easy as a wave of a wand? Hover over the "My Disneyland" button on the website and click "
Theme Park Reservations." From there, click "Make or Modify Park Reservations" to adjust one or more dates tied to your ticket. You can also do this on the
Disneyland mobile app. Tap the plus (+) icon at the bottom of the screen, tap "Make a Park Reservation," and then tap "Make or Modify Park Reservations." From here, you'd scroll to the reservation you want to change and select a new date and/or park. Make sure to tap "Confirm" for the change to be processed. I've known Guests who thought they updated their reservation but, in actuality, didn't because they missed the "Confirm" button.
If you visit between February 28 and April 21, you’ll have the chance to experience the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. This is one of my favorite annual events, not only for the food and drinks, but also for the entertainment and encounters with Chef Goofy. You might also enjoy one-of-a-kind experiences in a galaxy far, far away during
Season of the Force, which is coming to Disneyland Park from March 28 through May 11. You may even encounter a powerful Jedi, as revealed on the
Disney Parks Instagram page.
Amanda, I hope this information has been helpful as you decide how to extend your time at the Disneyland Resort! If you have any questions, please let us know. We're happy to help!
Wishing you magic,
Kriss
