we purchased a 3 day park ticket with our Polyesian Resort reservation. Could i exchange the ticket for a 2 day park ticket?

    Hiya Lucie!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for visiting with your question. A stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort sounds like a wonderful way to start your new year! This tropical themed luxurious resort combines tiki-inspired touches with the magic of Disney. That's a perfect vacation combination, right there!

If you purchased both a Disney Resort stay as well as theme park tickets, that's considered a vacation package. Yes, you should be able to switch your park tickets from 3-day to 2-day. A 2-day ticket is the minimum required to include with a vacation package... so you will still fall within that range.

To make this change, log on to My Disney Experience - My Plans. Next to your resort reservation details, you should see the option to "Change Reservation". This should step you through your current selections, and allow you to do things like alter your theme park tickets or add a Disney Dining Plan. It should also re-calculate your total package cost. If you don't see the option to make the change yourself, you can call Disney Hotel Reservations and a friendly Cast Member will be happy to assist you.

Your eligibility window to make advance dining reservations just opened! I highly recommend you grab an advance dining reservation at either 'Ohana or Kona Cafe during your stay. Both are located right at the Polynesian Resort, and you can't go wrong with either of these tasty dining venues. My kids favorite restaurant at Disney World is 'Ohana, and it's extra magical when our dinner reservation coincides with the showing of Magic Kingdom's Happily Ever After! They play the soundtrack from inside 'Ohana, and you can usually see the fireworks from the restaurant windows. It's Bibbidi Bobbidi Beautiful! If it helps to fine-tune your plans, you can check park hours and show times on the Parks Operating Calendar.

Lucie, I'll be wishing upon a star for you to have an absolutely spectacular time at Walt Disney World! Please feel free to visit us again at planDisney with any other questions. We love to help guests with their planning details!

    Magical memories await,
    Tami
