Welcome to planDisney, Eric! And welcome back to Mickey's Florida home. I completely understand wanting to squeeze a bit more magic into your trip, so let's look at your options for enjoying some
Walt Disney World Resort fun.
Since I can't see the type of ticket you purchased, I'll go over a couple of possibilities. My first suggestion is to call the
Existing Tickets line because they can see your account information and give you specific advice for using the remaining day of that ticket. For in-person assistance, you can stop by
Guest Relations at any theme park entrance or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.
I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who said that if your ticket has an unexpired day, you should be able to use it with no issues. For example, if you purchased a Special Offer ticket similar to the
3-Day 3-Park Ticket, its expiration date might be in September. One way to check is by tapping the My Tickets & Passes tile on your mobile app. You can swipe through any tickets you have and look for an expiration date underneath. If that ticket has expired, as Slinky Dog says, "Hang on!"
The Cast Member said that even an expired ticket might have some value to apply toward a new ticket, so it's worth a call or visit to see your options. And if you only plan to visit one theme park, you might get an even better deal on the new ticket. I'm waving my magic wand and hoping you enjoy some magic soon, Eric!
My tip is to research your options at the Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Even if you don't have admission to a theme park, you can spend some time browsing
World of Disney, eating some snacks, and soaking up that Disney vibe. My husband and I love to grab a seat at the bar at
Frontera Cocina for some Chips and Guacamole Verde!
Eric, thanks again for stopping by
planDisney. We're always here to help you plan your next magical visit. I hope you have a fabulous time in Orlando!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
