Hello there, Jason. Welcome to planDisney!
At this time, Theme Park Reservations are not required to visit the theme parks at the
Walt Disney World Resort for date-based tickets. Since the
14-Day Disney Magic Ticket requires you to select a window of dates for which the tickets are valid, they are considered date-based and do not require Theme Park Reservations at this time! You can see the types of tickets that do and don't require reservations on the
Theme Park Reservations page.
Since you're visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth around Easter, there are a bunch of things that you can do
only at this time of year. While details haven't been announced as of yet, there is usually a mini-parade before the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade during Easter weekend at
Magic Kingdom Park. There are also usually special character meets in this park as well. Once again, details haven't officially been announced, but if you're visiting this park on Easter weekend, you may want to look out for these special and rare offerings.
But something that is definitely taking place is the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival (until May 27, 2024). While my favorite offerings at this festival are the
Outdoor Kitchens, there are also the beautiful
flower displays and topiaries, the
Garden Rocks Concert Series, and specialty merchandise for sale exclusively for this festival. There's also the Egg-Stravanganza Scavenger Hunt that takes place around Easter in this park. It's a fun little scavenger hunt for special Easter Eggs hidden around the park for an extra cost. All in all, it's just a great park to visit during this time of year, especially if you love being surrounded by the beauty of nature. And with the newly opened
World Celebration Gardens in the center of the park...chef's kiss!
Jason, have a great springtime visit. If you have any other questions,
I'm happy to help!
I think my bunny slippers just ran for cover,
Matt
