I purchased a 7 day basic ticket, if I have a problem and go to my Disney resort Hotel and need to return to the same park do I have to pay again?

With a basic Disney park admission ticket, you are allowed to leave and reenter any SINGLE theme park as many times as you want during a day. With a Park Hopper ticket, you can leave and reenter any of the four theme parks during a day. There is no need for additional payments in either of these situations.

I should also say that you don't need to "have a problem" to leave the park. Most folks think it's a great strategy to spend several hours in the parks in the morning and then take a break in the afternoon to nap, swim, or have a relaxing lunch at one of the resorts. Then, you can return to the park in the evening for the fireworks or a show and be completely refreshed.

So again, if you want to go to one park in the morning, take a nap at the hotel, and then return to the SAME park later in the day, then all you need is a base ticket. If you want to go to one park in the morning, take a nap at the hotel, and then go to a DIFFERENT theme park in the evening, then you would need a Park Hopper ticket. You can choose whichever option makes the most sense for your family.

    Have a great trip!
