Heigh-Ho Jennifer,
Welcome to planDisney, I am happy to help with linking your child’s ticket with your friend, what an exciting and magical trip. Guests planning a Walt Disney World vacation should become savvy navigating their My Disney Experience and those traveling with others should make a
Family & Friend list.
If your
child is under the age of 13, your friend should create a profile for them on Their My Disney Experience profile. This will allow them to link their ticket, manage their trip and include them in their itinerary planning. IF, your child is 13+ your best option is creating their OWN My Disney Experience profile and link their ticket on their own account. Your friend will then request to be Friends with them, they will need to know the email used for your Child’s My Disney Experience account, and they can share and make itinerary plans together after the request has been accepted. Both options will require your friend to sign into their My Disney Experience profile, select Family & Friend list, scroll down to Add Guest and choose from the following 3 options:
1. Find through Connected Guests.
2. Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation.
3. I’ll Enter their name and age.
They will choose option “3” and follow prompts to connect and depending on your child’s age will continue with the prompts. If your child makes a My Disney Experience account look for a request to be Family & Friends in the email used. This will need to be accepted before moving forward in the planning process.
