    Hi! I purchased Category 1 tickets for Mickey’s Backyard BBQ so we need to be there at 4:30. How do we get there from Magic Kingdom and approximately how long does it take? Thank you for your help! Appreciate it!

    Welcome back!  I am thrilled to be able to help you out again.   Are you getting so excited about your trip?  I bet you can hardly contain your enthusiasm.   I hope your trip is truly magical and one you will never forget.

    Congrats on scoring a reservation at Mickey's Backyard BBQ.   This down-home country buffet meal filled with dancing and character interaction is one of my families favorites.   I hope you have an amazing time.  In order to reach your meal from Magic Kingdom, simply head out the front gates and walk straight ahead to the boat launch that is heading to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.   Once you arrive at the campground simply head up towards Settlement Hall and you will see signs pointing you in the direction of the fun feast.  I would allow about 60 to 90 minutes to reach your destination.  If you do arrive early you can explore the campground.   Playgrounds, stables and even pony rides are available.  It's such a fun place to explore.
