I purchased my bands in 2020 and they were linked for my trip but then covid hit and everything shut down. We are rescheduled finally to go and was trying to link my bands for our trip but it says they are already claimed but are not showing in the app

    Hi Annie,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you could reschedule your trip. It's never fun when plans change, but luckily your magical adventure is only a few short months away! Let's see if we can sort out this MagicBand issue and get you tech ready for May.

If you previously linked your MagicBands for a 2020 trip, they should still be linked to your My Disney Experience account. Sign in online and navigate to "My MagicBands and Cards." If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the webpage you should see a list of your Family and Friends under "Manage MagicBands." Click into each person's account to verify that a MagicBand has been linked. You may even see multiple bands listed as MagicBands are reusable from previous stays.

If everyone's MagicBand appears here but you aren't seeing them in your My Disney Experience App you may still need to link your upcoming resort reservation to connect your MagicBand to a purchased ticket or vacation package. You'll be able to do that from this same page, just click "Link" below your Order History and you'll be directed to input your Resort Reservation or Vacation Package confirmation number, or your Theme Park Ticket ID number. Your MagicBands should automatically work for the associated resort stays or purchased admission. If this doesn't seem to resolve the issue, you can contact a Cast Member for additional assistance by phone.

Annie, I want to remind you that Theme Park Reservations are currently required in addition to purchased admission. Be sure you've made a reservation for each day you plan to visit a theme park before you arrive. Don't worry if your plans change, you'll have the ability to modify your park selection subject to availability. I'd highly recommend making Magic Kingdom Park a priority for this visit as the fan-favorite fireworks show "Happily Ever After" will be returning this April. In addition, a brand new attraction TRON Lightcycle / Run will also be open, and is sure to be a high-thrill experience!

Feel free to come back and ask me any additional planning questions as you prepare for your upcoming vacation!

    Have a magical day!
