Hiya Jeff!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled that you've reached out to us here. Your question reminds me of the heartwarming story behind the creation of the Disneyland Park. It all started when
Walt Disney envisioned a place where both adults and children could have a great time together. He got the idea while sitting on a bench, watching his daughters play one weekend.
I know if my parents generously gifted me with a
Magic Key, I'd have redeemed it faster than they could say, “
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!” I’ve been enjoying my Magic Key for several months now with my tiny tumbly toddler, so I completely understand how you wanted to create unforgettable memories with your children, Jeff. And there is
so much to do at Disneyland with adults, too! Even though my parents aren't huge fans of theme parks, we have enjoyed
delightful character breakfasts as a family, and the magic was felt by all! If you're feeling generous, treating yourself to an unforgettable Disney vacation and all the enchanting extras could be a great idea. My pal and fellow panelist,
Keri B, has
tons of tips to share.
Jeff, although Magic Keys are non-refundable, you may be able to change the name on the passes. But if your children haven’t used their Magic Keys yet, the clock hasn't started ticking, and the passes will remain valid for one year. So, you may be able to change the names on these passes and gift them to someone else. The helpful cast members, just like fairy godmothers, would be the best ones to tell you what their magic wands can do. You can reach them by calling the special
Help Center line for Magic Key questions.
I sure hope you treat yourself to a magical trip to The Happiest Place On Earth soon, Jeff. Whether you're with family or friends, there are thrilling adventures and enchanting moments to be had all around the resort. I’d feel proud to share some of my favorite
tips and
suggestions with you, so feel free to
send me another question directly, and I’ll be able to respond more quickly.
You’ve got a friend in me,
Danielle
