Greetings, Pat, and welcome to planDisney! From one Floridian to another, I'm so glad you stopped by. And a great big beautiful congratulations on becoming an Annual Passholder. My husband and I have been enjoying the
perks and benefits of being passholders this past year, and we keep wondering why we didn't join the family sooner. I purchased our passes a few months before we activated them, so let's talk about the steps to take to enjoy the passholder magic at
Walt Disney World Resort!
Pat, if you were logged into your
My Disney Experience when you purchased those passes, they should autoMAGICally be linked to your account. To see if they're linked, sign in on your computer and hover over the My Disney Experience tab at the top right of your screen. Click on My Plans and scroll down to My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets. Under that, you'll click the Tickets, Passes, and Memory Maker tab, where you should see a list of any theme park tickets and annual passes linked to your account. If you see your pass listed, then that pass is linked correctly, and you should be able to book those
Theme Park Reservations.
If you don't see your pass linked to your account, you'll need to find the confirmation email you received when you purchased it. You'll see a confirmation number in that email, which you can use to link your pass on your My Disney Experience home page. Look for the blue Add More Plans button on the right side of the page and choose Link Reservations and Purchases from the dropdown menu.
Once you're sure your Annual Pass is linked, please
call the Annual Passholders line if you still need help making Theme Park Reservations. With a linked pass, you should be able to make reservations for the length of your stay at a
Disney Resort Hotel.
To remind you, Florida residents must activate their Annual Passes before their first use by showing
valid proof of residency at any Guest Relations location. My favorite spot to do this is at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. After activating your pass, you can scan into any theme park entrance. The moment you scan in at a theme park, the pass begins counting its year of use.
I hope you enjoy your Annual Pass as much as I do, Pat! One tip is to purchase a lanyard or small wallet that can display your Annual Pass card and your ID. It's easy to pull that out at participating restaurants and shops when you want to apply your passholder discount.
Pat, please
stop by planDisney anytime. We love helping guests have practically perfect visits!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
