    Hi I purchased an annual pass in July 2024 but it has not been activated yet. When I activate it in May 2025 will it be active until May 2026

    How incredibly exciting that you're becoming part of the Passholder family! Being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder truly gives you access to some of the most magical experiences. It's more than just a ticket – it's an opportunity to create endless memories, enjoy exclusive benefits, and immerse yourself in the magic all year long!

    Your pass won't be officially activated until you scan into your first park. Once you do, it will be valid for one year from that date. This means, if your first scan is in May 2025, your pass will remain active until the same date in May 2026. It sounds like you're about to have one magical year ahead of you!!

    Keep in mind that Passholders are still required to make advanced theme park reservations, unless it's after 2:00 PM, with the exception of Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays.

    If you're planning to stay at a Disney Resort during your visit, you'll be able to purchase your Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days before your check-in date. Otherwise, you're welcome to purchase 3 days before your park visit. I purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass on my last trip, and it's amazing how much time it really saves!
