I purchased airline tix on Disney website, information is in my online Disney account. I'm travelling with my husband and a 5 year old so I have to make sure my 5 year seat is with mine? What about baggage check fee?

    Hi Lisa,

Traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort via airplane is a fun way to start your vacation! Remember to get to the airport early so that you can avoid the stress of long lines with TSA. Also, pack extra snacks, activities and portable power if you have electronics you want to use in flight.

You should have received a confirmation number for your flight. This is a randomly, selected six letters assigned by the airline you are flying. If you do not have that information, simply reach out to Disney and ask them for the confirmation number.

With this confirmation number, you can head to the airline you are flying website. This will show you your seats, if assigned, as well as available seats. You can then make sure your seats are together. If the seats are not together and you cannot put two seats together, call the airline and see if they can adjust. Often airlines hold seats for unaccompanied minors and these can be reassigned closer to departure. If the airline cannot assign a seat ahead of time, simply approach the gate agent and explain the situation. They will do their best to accommodate you.

As for baggage fees, almost all airlines have baggage fees. If you did not pay them upfront, you can pay them prior to your trip on the airline's website when you are looking at your seats.

    Wishing you a magical day!
