Hi Gillian,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question, my fellow international traveller!
I’m often the “Planner in Chief” whenever I visit Walt Disney World Resort with my friends and family, so I completely understand your question. I’m happy to say that, just because you’re the one who purchased all of your party’s tickets, doesn’t mean that you will all need to stay together for every minute of your upcoming holidays!
First, make sure that everyone in your party has created a
My Disney Experience account for themselves and that the
Theme Park Tickets you purchased for them are linked to their account. The easiest way for you to do this would be to invite them to plan with you via email; you’ll see that function on your “Family & Friends” page for each profile you’ve created.
Then, once their Tickets are linked to their accounts, they’ll be able to get an Admission Card at any Ticket Window at the Theme Park entrance gates or at the
Disney Springs Welcome Center. If you’re staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, they’ll also be able to use their Key to the World Card (hotel room key card) to access the Parks if their resort stay is also linked to their My Disney Experience account. They may also be able to use their mobile phone to enter the Parks if they can download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App and download their tickets to the “Wallet” function on their phone.
I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect visit! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions; we’re always happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
