Hi there, James! Thanks for sailing by planDisney with such a great question. Let’s “pour” over the details of your
back-to-back cruises!
I recently sailed with my best friend, and like you, we enjoyed relaxing over a nice glass of wine at dinner. We purchased our wine package directly from our dining room server once onboard, but you can also pre-order through the
Onboard Gifts and Amenities section of your cruise reservation. Packages are a great way to save on bottles and enjoy them throughout your voyage, whether you choose the Classic or Premium selection.
Now, for your specific situation...Disney Cruise Line treats each leg of a back-to-back sailing as a separate cruise for accounting purposes. That means your wine package will officially close at the end of your first sailing, and you’d need to purchase a new package for the second sailing. However, if you have unopened bottles left from the first cruise, your servers can deliver them to your stateroom on the last night so you can enjoy them during the second cruise. You can sip them in your stateroom (wine glasses and corkscrews are available via room service) or bring them to the main dining rooms; just note that there
may be a corkage fee if you do.
If you happen to have the same serving team for both cruises, I recommend chatting with them the night before disembarkation. They may have helpful suggestions for making sure your wine transitions smoothly into your second sailing. If you’d like, you can also check with
Guest Services to see if they can coordinate things for you.
I hope this helps you uncork a little magic on both of your voyages, James!
Cheers,
Eean
