Can you purchase water shoes for children at Disney's water parks, and if so, how much should I expect to pay for them.

Hello, Cindy, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My family and I just returned home from our annual summer kick-off visit to Walt Disney World Resort, and we spent just as much time in the Water Parks as we did in the Theme Parks! My husband left his water shoes at home, and he was able to purchase a pair from the Beach Haus at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park for around $30. Depending on the size, children’s swim shoes ranged from $15-$20. Of course, prices and availability are always subject to change, but there was a good collection of sizes and colors as of last week.

You can also check out the collection of swim shoes available at shopDisney.com (which includes some super cute Flip Flops and Slides, too). If you’re staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel, there may also be swim shoes available for purchase at your hotel’s gift shop.

While you’re certainly more than welcome to bring your own water shoes, flip flops, beach towels and sunscreen from home, you’ll also find each of these items available for purchase at the Beach Haus or at Singapore Sal’s at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Both of these shops are open from Park open until close. (Additionally, towels are available for rent at each of the Water Parks, too.)

Please let us know if you have any other Walt Disney World Resort questions, Cindy. We’re always happy to help.
