I want to purchase an umbrella in Liberty Square. It's the ones you can have customized with your name or other art. How well do they go on rides? Do they fit in the lockers for the Tron ride?

    Hiya, Torina!

I'm absolutely delighted to welcome you to planDisney. Your question truly brought a smile to my face. It reminded me of a heartwarming tradition my family has cherished for nearly a decade. When my niece was just five years old, my brother started a sweet ritual of purchasing her a custom parasol from Liberty Square during each visit to Magic Kingdom. What began as a simple souvenir quickly turned into a beloved tradition. Now, almost ten years later, she has a beautiful collection of parasols, each one representing a special trip and the magical memories they made together. It's those kinds of meaningful moments that make a Disney vacation so unforgettable.

The umbrellas you're referring to are available in two different sizes: a small and a large. The small version is more like a parasol, lightweight and compact, while the larger version is closer in size to a traditional umbrella. When you place your order, you'll get to choose your preferred size and customize it with a design. Once it's complete, you'll return later in the day to pick it up.

It's important to note that the design needs time to dry properly, so the Cast Member assisting you will let you know how long the umbrella should remain open. While the small parasol-sized umbrellas can usually fit inside the lockers at TRON, the larger ones are too big for those storage spaces.

To make things easier, I suggest asking the Cast Member what the latest possible pickup time is for your umbrella. That way, it can stay safely stored at the shop until you're ready to leave, and you won't need to worry about carrying it around the park.

Torina, you've chosen to visit during the most delightfully frightful time of the year...Halloween at Walt Disney World! As the sun sets and the shadows grow longer, the parks and resorts come alive with a ghostly glow. It's a season when happy haunts materialize, pumpkins grin from every corner, and a spine-tingling sense of magic drifts through the air.

One of the most spirited celebrations during this time is Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party held on select nights at Magic Kingdom. This special ticketed event invites foolish mortals of all ages to dress in costume, collect candy from trick-or-treat trails, and revel in spooky entertainment, including the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, and even fireworks led by the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington.

But beware...tickets to this hauntingly popular event tend to vanish quicker than a hitchhiking ghost! I highly recommend purchasing yours in advance to ensure you don't miss out on all the (not-so) spooky festivities. So get ready, Torina...the spirits are dying to welcome you!

Thank you once again for stopping by planDisney with your question. If any other curiosities arise along your planning journey, we're always happy to help!

    Magical Wishes,

    Kami
