Hello, Kerrie, and welcome to the USA! Here's hoping our winter weather warms up a bit for you during your holiday; even Mickey was wearing a coat this week! Since you've already arrived from across the pond, let's jump right into how you can secure tickets to
Walt Disney World Resort.
I checked with my panelist pal
Matt from the UK, and he just tried to buy a 14-day Disney Magic Ticket as an experiment. He said his earliest start date is the same as yours; I assume that cushion is for payment and processing time, and probably can't be moved up.
Since you're close to the theme parks, I suggest stopping by the ticket booth at a park entrance, or head to the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. The Cast Members at any ticket location can help you determine the best options for your visit. You can also call the US line for
Tickets and Hotel Reservations, or use the Chat with Us feature in your mobile app for help.
UK tickets are typically a fantastic value, so it might still be worth purchasing them even if you don't use every day of the ticket. You could compare the cost of a
US ticket that could start today with the price of a UK ticket and let math be your guide!
Kerrie, I'm thinking happy thoughts that you'll get those tickets and head to the parks soon for some magic. I visited the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts last week, and I recommend
meeting some of the artists while you're there. I met Bret Iwan, and while I knew he was a fantastic artist, I also found out he's a warm and friendly person. Isn't that magical?
Have a great time and stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
