Should I purchase travel insurance for our Disney Cruise and can you purchase that thru Disney? Thanks!

    Ahoy Lauren!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Before you know it, you'll be setting out on your high seas adventure with Captain Minnie!  I am excited that you have chosen my favorite way to vacation, sailing onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship!

Disney Cruise Line recommends guests purchase travel insurance.  Travel insurance can recover a portion your costs associated with making advanced reservations to cruise in the event you are unable to travel as expected.  Many travel insurance plans also cover any unexpected circumstances and emergencies while you travel.  It is an investment I have made to protect our vacations, especially when traveling overseas.

Guests can purchase a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Protection Plan anytime from the moment you book your reservation until you make your final payment.  To add this protection to your magical getaway, contact Disney Cruise Line or your travel agent prior to your paid in full date.

Enjoy planning your adventure on the high seas!  Sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you have while you continue to chart your course for a magical vacation.

    Bon voyage!  Angie
