Hi there, Wendy.
Welcome to planDisney! Hooray for planning a spontaneous trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! I’m excited for you to experience the EARidescent excitement of the
50th Anniversary Celebration for yourself.
Of course, to partake in all the fun, you’ll first need to purchase a theme park ticket. Sign into your
My Disney Experience account on the
Walt Disney World Resort website and hover your cursor over “Parks & Tickets” at the top left of the screen. Select “
Theme Park Tickets” from the options, then scroll down and click “Continue.” Select the number of days you want for your ticket. It sounds like you want a 1-Day ticket but also want to visit two parks that day. To do this, you will need to choose the
Park Hopper Option for your ticket. This allows you to park hop (visit) more than one park in a day. Choose the date you plan to visit on the calendar, then continue walking through the checkout process to complete the purchase of your ticket.
Remember, Theme Park Reservations are required in addition to your theme park ticket for park entry, so you should
check the availability calendar to make sure
Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT have Theme Park Reservations available for the day you plan to visit prior to purchasing your ticket. If they show availability, make sure to
make your Theme Park Reservation via the Disney Park Pass system as soon as possible after buying your ticket.
Wendy, I hope this helps.
Let us know if you think of any other questions before you arrive, and enjoy your trip!
May the Force be with you,
Alyssa
