Howdy Joshua!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney, a group of the rootinest tootinest Disney vacation enthusiasts you ever will meet! I’m glad that you decided to bring your question here, and it would be my pleasure to help round up an answer for you. We all felt like lost toys during the
Disneyland Resort closure, but our wishes have been granted as we see the
phased reopening process taking place.
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park have reopened with significantly limited capacity to comply with governmental requirements and promote physical distancing. All Guests are required to obtain a
theme park reservation through the new theme park reservation system in advance. At this time, only California residents may visit the parks, and proof of residency may be required.
Theme park reservations are currently available around 60 days in advance. Although you cannot make theme park reservations for your visit in October, I recommend
purchasing your theme park tickets now, as multi-day theme park tickets purchased today are good through January 2023, or 13 days after the first use, whichever comes first. This way, when theme park reservations open up for October, you are ready to go!
I hope that you have a wonderful time returning to
The Happiest Place on Earth this October. Please remember that you’ve got a friend in us here at
planDisney, so stop back by any time we can help answer your vacation questions.
