Hi, I want to purchase tickets for the 18 and 19 of January but I saw magic keys will be sold on the 10th. If I buy tickets before the 10th can I pay the difference for the magic keys if available? I don’t want to risk not getting availability for those da

    Hi Vanessa!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question! Regardless of whether or not you purchased Magic Key Passes for your visit, I'm really excited that it's right around the corner!  The period after the Holiday Season has traditionally been lighter in terms of crowds, so hopefully you'll be able to enjoy the Parks with lower wait times.

I recently chatted with a Cast Member to get clarification on situations such as yours and this is what I learned. Unused tickets may only be upgraded in person at the Main Entrance Ticket Booths while there is availability. Only partially used tickets may be upgraded within the Disneyland Mobile App. So in your situation, you would have been unable to get credit for your tickets and upgrade to a Magic Key remotely.

Have you heard that World of Color - ONE will be returning on January 19, 2024? This show debuted last year when the Disney100 Celebration began and showcases the rich storytelling of Walt Disney along with additional elements from Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar! If you'd like a VIP seat for the show, I'd recommend looking into the World of Color Dessert Party

Vanessa, I'm super excited for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth and I hope that you have a truly magical visit! We'd love to hear from you again, so please feel free to drop by anytime. We'll see ya real soon!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
