I am about to purchase tickets to HS after hour. I understand that the event starts at 9:30pm - 12:30am however we can enter into the park at 7pm. My question is: Can I use the attractions from 7pm or do I need to wait until 9:30pm to starting the rides?

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Anna! I'm happy to help you plan your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit. You'll be here before Slinky Dog can say, "Hang on!" It sounds like you're planning for some late-night fun, so let's talk about what you can expect at Disney After Hours events.

You are absolutely right, Anna; the Disney After Hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios is an exclusive experience that begins at 9:30 PM. I'm thrilled to confirm that with your special event ticket, you can enter the theme park as early as 7:00 PM. Once you've scanned in and received your party credentials, the park is yours to explore! You can join standby queues for any attraction or grab a delectable snack.

Keep in mind that until the event officially begins at 9:30 PM, guests with standard admission will still be in the theme park. Queues for attractions will be much shorter once the event starts, so my first tip is to head for attractions with a low wait time when you arrive at 7:00 PM. My family loves Star Tours, so you could visit a galaxy far, far away and then enjoy a bite at the ABC Commissary. Their Mediterranean Salad is light but filling, so it would be the perfect energy boost to keep you going!

I suggest heading to your must-do attractions at 9:30 PM or a little before. For me, that would be Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Remember that snacks and soft drinks are included with your ticket, so save room for popcorn and ice cream!

Anna, I hope you have a magical time on your Disney vacation. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
