Hi Nikki! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
Yes, it is possible to purchase
admission tickets at the Disneyland Resort main ticket booths between the parks. However, if you're trying to buy a ticket for a day, such as today, that currently has no theme park reservation
availability, you won't be able to purchase. I'm sorry if that's not the answer you were hoping for today!
Currently, Guests must have both an admission ticket and a
theme park reservation to enter the parks, and theme park reservation availability is not guaranteed. It is popular during popular times of the year for those reservations to fill up. There are no extra reservations held back at the main ticket booths, and for that reason, I would never recommend visiting with the intent to enter the parks on a day when there are no reservations.
You're not without choices, however. You can enjoy
Downtown Disney District without a theme park reservation! There are dining locations, shopping, and entertainment to enjoy there, including the springtime event
Eggstravaganza, which my family recently had fun completing. You can also visit the
Disneyland Resort Hotels, which are conveniently located close to Downtown Disney District. They feature dining, shopping, and immersive theming you can have fun exploring without a hotel reservation.
And of course, you can keep checking the reservation availability to see if something pops up. People's plans do change and sometimes very last minute. When someone cancels a reservation availability reflects that change. If you keep checking regularly, there is a chance you'll get lucky and snap up the reservation you're hoping for today.
Have a magical day!
Elizabeth
